Human Design is a blend of ancient wisdom and modern scientific concepts. It draws from four longstanding traditions: the Chinese I Ching, the Kabbalah, the chakra system, and astrology, and integrates ideas from neutrino physics and genetics.
At the moment you took your first breath, a quiet stream of neutrinos from the stars passed through you, imprinting a unique energetic blueprint. Your Human Design.
It is calculated from your exact birth data, the position of the planets at the moment you took your first breath. Those positions light up a personal map that highlights where your energy is consistent and reliable, and where you are more open to the energies around you.
Human Design also uses a second calculation from about 88 days before birth. This moment helps form the unconscious side of your energy and your more automatic patterns. Together, these two moments create the full picture of your unique chart.
Centers, Gates, and Channels
Your chart has nine Centers (energy hubs based on the ancient chakra system). Some are defined (colored in) and give you consistent energy. Others are open and make you more sensitive to the energies around you.
Connecting the Centers are Channels — pathways of energy. Each Channel is made up of two Gates (specific qualities or themes drawn from the I Ching). When two Gates connect, they create a reliable flow of energy and talent in your design.
The Best Place to Begin
The most important and practical place to start with Human Design is your Type, Strategy, and Authority.
These three foundations are your daily operating instructions. They show you how you are designed to move through life with less resistance and more satisfaction.
When people begin living according to their own Strategy and Authority, their energy becomes so aligned that it naturally lifts the energy of those around them and can even contribute to raising the collective consciousness of the planet.

Human Design has five main energy Types. Each Type has its own way of being in the world:

Your Type tells you how your energy is designed to work.
Your Strategy tells you how to make decisions correctly.

What do the open or undefined areas mean?
These are the places in your chart where you are beautifully sensitive to other people’s energy and to your environment. The centers in Human Design are based on the ancient chakra system. They are no weaknesses at all. They are the gifts of awareness. You get to experience different flavors of those themes through the people around you, which can bring deep wisdom when you learn to navigate them with care. It is literally living vicariously through others at times.
My Relationship with Human Design
When Human Design first found me, I had been working on building my coaching practice for some time. I knew I wanted to offer something deeper, something that would truly support people who were drawn to energy, ancient wisdom, quantum physics, meditation, and the unseen realms by helping them see how these principles could be practically applied and lived in their everyday lives.
But I was feeling frustrated and unclear. I didn’t know what tool or system would actually help me attract and serve the right clients. After months of searching and feeling stuck, I finally asked my spirit guides for help and guidance.
Not long after, Human Design appeared.
The moment I saw my chart, something deep inside me clicked. It felt like a beautiful recognition — Oh… this is how I’m meant to move through the world.
Since then, I’ve looked at many charts of friends and family. It has become one of the most loving things I’ve ever experienced. It has gently transformed how I relate with the people I love. I judge less. I expect less. And I meet them more where they actually are.

Important Note About Birth Time
The planets are always moving, even minute by minute. In Human Design, we have been imprinted with neutrinos that have streamed primarily from the Sun (about 70 percent of those passing through us) and the rest from other stars in our galaxy. The planets influence or refract that stream as it passes through, creating the specific imprint at your birth. Your birth time helps us pinpoint exactly where they were when you began your independent (of the womb) life. That precise moment gives us the coordinates from your personal chart.
To generate an accurate Human Design chart, we need your exact birth date, birth time, and place of birth (city and country).

How to Find Your Birth Time
Don’t worry if you don’t know your exact birth time — many people don’t! Here are some simple ways to find it:
Ask family members (parents, grandparents, or siblings) — they often remember or have it written down.
Check old birth announcement cards, baby books, or hospital records.
Look at your long-form birth certificate (the detailed version).
If it’s not there, contact your state vital records office — they usually have the time on their official copy.
A quick call or email can often get you the answer.
